But, it ain’t just ‘what you do’, it’s the ‘way’ that you do it.

I’ve spent over three decades leading organizations in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA. I’ve worked with individuals, specialist teams, start-ups, high-growth ventures, and large corporations.I have the ‘battle scars’ from my journey. Unquestionably, what I have done has shaped how I think and go about my life. Every day, I seek to remain humble and open. I seek to leverage a mindset – a way of doing things.Today, I seem happiest when working ‘elbows deep’ alongside and inside talented teams, collaborating on complex challenges and helping us embrace opportunities. The gnarlier and uglier the problem, the more excited and focused I get.

Unquestionably, I am a serial entrepreneur. Entrepreneurial thinking was baked into me at an early age. I can’t help myself. There is a sweet taste in taking the thread of an idea and turning it into something tangible. Of course, I have had my share of failures.I have worked incredibly hard and been fortunate. Today, I am able to make discrete investments of time and money in great people and companies that surprise and inspire me.I have been a Coach, Instructor, Trainer, and Mentor for as long as I can remember. It seems a natural disposition that brings me a particular type of joy.I began my career pursuing a childhood dream to serve as a Royal Air Force helicopter pilot, flying in operations in the UK and Northern Ireland, Falklands, Hong Kong, and 24/7 Search and Rescue. Those experiences have shaped the way I work and approach any challenge before me.
